Good choices, Timothy! I think a lot of times color robs us of the ability to clearly see the essence of the image, to get to the "heart" of it. Not that I've anything AGAINST beautiful colors, it just depends upon the image, IMO. In this one, for instance, more busy colors might have suggested a wholly different kind of music.

Thanks Lin. It's actual made from two of the same image. One I converted to black and white. The other I used a gradient to go from color to white. Then applied other effects. The actual image was too colorful. I wanted to focus on the image of the man and capturing him in that moment.
